PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-pipe travel device which can be adapted to an obstacle in a pipe-line by changing a crawler shape in accordance with circumstances in the pipe-line and can reduce the size and cost.SOLUTION: A plurality of crawler type travelers 3 arranged on different positions in the circumferential direction of a vehicle body 2 includes: a first arm freely rotatably supported by a frame 6; a driving pulley and an idler pulley supported by the first arm; a driving arm part 8 having a differential mechanism which transmits a driving force of a motor 7 to the driving pulley during normal traveling and transmits a driving force of the motor 7 to the first arm upon contacting an obstacle; a second arm which is freely rotatably supported by the frame 6; a driven arm part 9 having a driven side idler pulley which is supported by the second arm; a crawler 10 which is wound by the driving pulley and the driven side idler pulley; and a rotation transmission mechanism 11 which rotates the second arm in synchronism with rotation of the first arm by means of a driving force of the motor upon contacting an obstacle and changes the crawler 10 into a substantially parallelogram shape.

    【課題】 配管内の状況に応じてクローラ形状を変化させることで配管内の障害物に適応することができ、且つ、小型化及び低コスト化を図ることができる配管走行装置を提供する。【解決手段】 車体2の周方向の異なる位置に複数配置されるクローラ式走行体3が、フレーム6に回転自在に支持される第1アームと、第1アームに支持される駆動プーリー及びアイドラプーリーと、通常走行時にモータ7の駆動力を駆動プーリーに伝達し、障害物接触時にモータ7の駆動力を第1アームに伝達する差動機構とを有する駆動アーム部8と、フレーム6に回転自在に支持される第2アームと、第2アームに支持される従動側アイドラプーリーとを有する従動アーム部9と、駆動プーリー及び従動側アイドラプーリーに巻掛けられるクローラ10と、障害物接触時にモータの駆動力による第1アームの回転に同期させて第2アームを回転させてクローラ10を略平行四辺形状に変化させる回転伝達機構11とを備える。【選択図】図1
