PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-pipe traveling device which does not require a dedicated apparatus and, even while suppressing a manufacturing cost as much as possible, can satisfactorily travel even on a peculiar portion in a pipe line such as a pipe line region having a small diameter part and a large diameter part.SOLUTION: A traveling unit 10 includes: two arm parts 11; a pivotal support member 16 which pivotally supports the two arm parts 11 freely swingably around a shaft center T on a center part 110 of each arm part 11; a wheel 12 which is pivotally supported on both edge parts of each arm part 11, is brought into contact with an in-pipe wall and is freely rotatable; and an energizing means 18 which energizes one edge side of each arm part 11 to the outer side in the radial direction of a pipe so as to be separated from each other, presses each wheel 12 arranged on one edge side of each arm part 11 against the in-pipe wall, at the same time, energizes the other edge side of each arm part 11 to the outer side in the radial direction of the pipe so as to be separated from each other, and presses each wheel 12 arranged on the other edge side of each arm part 11 against the in-pipe wall.

    【課題】専用機器を必要とせず、できる限り製造コストを抑えながらも、小径部と大径部とを有する配管領域など配管内の特異な箇所においても良好に走行可能な管内走行装置を提供する。【解決手段】2つのアーム部11と、2つのアーム部11を、各アーム部11の中央部110において軸心T周りで揺動自在に軸支する軸支部材16と、各アーム部11の両端部に軸支され、管内壁に接触して回転自在な車輪12と、各アーム部11の一端側同士を相互に離間する管の径方向外側に付勢して当該各アーム部11の一端側に配置される各車輪12を管内壁に押圧するとともに、各アーム部11の他端側同士を相互に離間する管の径方向外側に付勢して当該各アーム部11の他端側に配置される各車輪12を管内壁に押圧する付勢手段18と、を有する走行ユニット10を備える。【選択図】図1
