To provide an in-pipe traveling device capable of moving in a pipe axial direction in the pipe and performing roll rotation around a pipe axis without requiring complicated control and also capable of realizing downsizing.SOLUTION: In an in-pipe traveling device 1, a first rolling body 41 driven by driving means 6 is provided on at least one of free ends of two end links 21 of a plurality of links 2 coupled to each other. The first rolling body 41 has a first rotation shaft 42 perpendicular to a link shaft 22 of the end link 21 to be rotatable around the first rotation shaft 42 and the link shaft 22. The driving means 6 includes an output shaft 61 provided to be rotatable on the link shaft 22 along the link shaft 22, an actuator 62 outputting a bidirectional rotational driving force through the output shaft 61 to be switchable, transmission means 65 for transmitting the rotational driving force to the first rolling body 41 from the output shaft 61, and rotation direction restricting means 68 for restricting the rotation of the first rolling body 41 around the first rotation shaft 42 to one direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
