PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for estimating a parameter of an equivalent circuit model of a secondary battery that is designed to be able to precisely estimate the parameter of the equivalent circuit model while a vehicle is actually running.SOLUTION: An arithmetic unit 8 calculates the parameter of an RC series-parallel circuit in an equivalent circuit model after calculating Warburg impedance Zw. When calculating Warburg impedance Zw, the arithmetic unit 8 calculates the impedance Zw0 of a predetermined frequency f0, calculates the impedance Zw1 of frequencies f1 gradually low from the frequency f0, and, assuming that the impedance Zw1 of a first frequency f1 where the sum of a difference in the real part (Re(Zw1)-Re(Zw0)) and a difference in the imaginary part (Im(Zw1)-Im(Zw0)) of these is greater than or equal to a prescribed value Ze is a curved portion on a Nyquist diagram, calculates diffusion resistance Rand time constant τby using the impedance Zw1 of this frequency f1 (S11-S19).

    【課題】車両の実走行中に等価回路モデルのパラメータを高精度で推定できるようにした二次電池の等価回路モデルのパラメータ推定装置を提供する。【解決手段】演算部8は、ワールブルグインピーダンスZwを算出した後、等価回路モデル内のRC直並列回路のパラメータを算出している。演算部8は、ワールブルグインピーダンスZwを算出するときには、予め定められた周波数f0のインピーダンスZw0を算出し、当該周波数f0から徐々に低い周波数f1のインピーダンスZw1を算出し、これらの実部の差(Re(Zw1)−Re(Zw0))と虚部の差(Im(Zw1)−Im(Zw0))との和が所定値Ze以上となる最初の周波数f1のインピーダンスZw1をナイキスト線図上の曲線部分とみなし、この周波数f1のインピーダンスZw1を用いて拡散抵抗Rd、時定数τdを算出する(S11〜S19)。【選択図】図5
