PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure for a hook fastening member for a vehicle that can improve connection strength between the hook fastening member and a vehicle body while preventing increase in the number of components and increase in weight of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The installation structure for a hook fastening member for a vehicle is provided with a hook fastening member 2 and a hollow side member 3. An opening portion 3b that opens toward one side in a vehicle longitudinal direction is formed at one end region in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the side member 3. The hook fastening portion 2 is arranged so that a base end portion thereof is stored in one end region of the side member 3 and a tip portion thereof is protruded from the opening portion 3b of the side member 3 to one side in the vehicle longitudinal direction. In the side member 3 is provided an installation portion 7 recessed from inside toward an outer periphery of the side member 3 corresponding to a part in an outer peripheral shape in the base end portion of the hook fastening member 2, and the base end portion of the hook fastening member 2 is contacted with and connected to the installation portion 7 of the side member 3.
