PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance strength of a fiber-reinforced material.SOLUTION: A method for producing the fiber-reinforced material comprises the steps of: removing a stitch yarn 13 from the edge of a reinforced fiber body 11 obtained by knitting a reinforcing fiber 9 with the stitch yarn 13; applying an adhesive to the reinforced fiber body 11 in the vicinity of a stitch yarn-removed portion to harden the adhesive-applied portion; setting the reinforced fiber body 11 thus hardened in a die 21; injecting a resin into the die 21 so that the reinforcing fiber 9 in the vicinity of the stitch yarn 13-removed portion is moved to the edge of the reinforced fiber body 11 by a flow of the injected resin and the reinforcing fiber 9 enters in a cavity edge 27b by the flow of the resin 29 to secure strength of the edge, the cavity edge 27b being arranged in the die corresponding to the edge of the reinforced fiber body 11. With this configuration, the cavity edge is bent to the direction perpendicular to the flow direction of the resin.

    【課題】繊維強化材料の強度を高める。【解決手段】強化繊維9をステッチ糸13で編み込んだ強化繊維体11の端部におけるステッチ糸13を取り除き、この取り除いた部位付近の強化繊維体11に接着剤を塗布して固める。その後、この強化繊維体11を型21にセットした状態で、型21内に樹脂を注入し、注入した樹脂の流れによって、ステッチ糸13を取り除いた部位周辺の強化繊維9を、強化繊維体11の端部に移動させる。強化繊維体11の端部に対応する型21には、樹脂の流れ方向に対して屈曲するキャビティ端部27bを備える。キャビティ端部27bに樹脂29の流れによって強化繊維9が入り込み、端部の強度が確保される。【選択図】図4
