PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine gear device whose power transmission system is made simple and compact so that a side thruster can be used even for a comparatively small vessel.SOLUTION: The marine gear device has a hydraulic variable transmission 30 that changes speed of power of a main engine 7 mounted on a hull. The hydraulic variable transmission 30 has a structure in which a hydraulic pump 41 to be driven by the main engine 7, a first hydraulic motor 42 that drives a screw 5 that makes the hull to generate thrust in a longitudinal direction and a second hydraulic motor 43 that drives a side thruster that makes the hull to generate thrust in a left-and-right steering direction are connected in series by hydraulic closed circuits 44 and 74.

    【課題】比較的小型の船舶にもサイドスラスタを採用できるように、動力伝達系統を簡単且つコンパクトにするマリンギヤ装置を提供する。【解決手段】船体に搭載した主機関7の動力を変速する油圧無段変速機30を有するマリンギヤ装置において、油圧無段変速機30は、主機関7で駆動する油圧ポンプ41と、船体に前後方向の推力を発生させるスクリュー5を駆動させる第1油圧モータ42と、船体に左右舷方向の推力を発生させるサイドスラスタを駆動させる第2油圧モータ43とを油圧閉回路44,74で直列に接続した構造になっている。【選択図】図4
