PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body frame structure in which machining work cost can be reduced, while employing a laser welding method.SOLUTION: Lower frames 36 L and 36R include a base part frame 39 on a base part, and are connected to a tip 41 of a down frame 35 via the base part frame 39. In the weld bead accompanied with the connection, a part (1/2 circumference) is a laser weld bead 43L, and the remainder (1/2 circumference) is an arc weld bead 43A. A gap in a part of the circumference is made zero, and laser welding is applied thereto, and in the remainder of the circumference, a gap is doubled. Arc-welding can be executed even when a gap is large, and arc-welding is applied to the remainder with a large gap. When the 1/2 circumference is a part and remaining 1/2 circumference is a remainder, a ratio of the laser weld bead occupying the weld bead is sufficiently high, and reduction of heat strain can be expected. Compared to whole circumference laser welding, a machining work cost is greatly reduced.

    【課題】レーザ溶接法を採用しつつ、機械加工費用を低減することができる車体フレーム構造を提供する。【解決手段】ロアフレーム36L、36Rは、基部に基部フレーム39を備え、この基部フレーム39を介して、ダウンフレーム35の先端41に接続されている。接続に伴う溶接ビードは、一部(1/2周)がレーザ溶接ビード43Lであり、残部(1/2周)がアーク溶接ビード43Aである。【効果】周の一部での隙間をゼロにし、そこにレーザ溶接を施す。周の残部は隙間が倍増する。アーク溶接は隙間が大きくても施工可能である。隙間が大きな残部にアーク溶接を施す。1/2周を一部、残りの1/2周を残部とすれば、溶接ビードに占めるレーザ溶接ビードの割合が十分に大きく、熱歪みの減少が期待できる。そして、全レーザ溶接に比較して、機械加工費用が格段に小さくなる。【選択図】図8
