PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire position registration system capable of completing registration of a tire position in a short time.SOLUTION: A TPMS receiver calculates a population means μ from a population E by estimating the population E of axle rotation information Dc in respective valves ID. The TPMS receiver sets a synchronous wheel allowable area R on the basis of the calculated population means μ, and confirms whether or not the axle rotation information Dc acquired in reception time of the valves ID enters the synchronous wheel allowable area R, and specifies a tire position of four-wheels by restricting an axle of the four-wheels in the respective valves ID. The synchronous wheel allowable area R is updated every time when acquiring new axle rotation information Dc in response to reception of the valves ID.

    【課題】タイヤ位置の登録を短時間で完了することができるタイヤ位置登録システムを提供する。【解決手段】TPMS受信機は、各バルブIDにおいて、車軸回転情報Dcの母集団Eを推定し、母集団Eから母平均μを算出する。TPMS受信機は、算出した母平均μに基づき同期輪許容域Rを設定し、バルブIDの受信時に取得した車軸回転情報Dcが同期輪許容域Rに入るか否かを確認して、各バルブIDにおける4輪の車軸を絞り込んでいくことにより、4輪のタイヤ位置を特定する。同期輪許容域Rは、バルブIDの受信に伴って新たな車軸回転情報Dcを取得する度に更新される。【選択図】図4
