PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of optical axis control in auto-leveling control using a low cost distance sensor.SOLUTION: An optical axis control device for a headlamp 13 provided in a vehicle having a first portion in which inclination with respect to a road surface fluctuates and a second portion in which the inclination with respect to the road surface hardly fluctuates includes: a distance detection unit 11 mounted in a predetermined position of the first portion of the vehicle and for detecting a distance with a predetermined position of the second portion of the vehicle; a vehicle body inclination angle determination unit 21 for acquiring an inclination angle with respect to a road surface in a front and back direction in the first portion of the vehicle by using the distance detected by the distance detection unit 11; an optical axis control amount setting unit 22 for acquiring an optical axis control amount of the headlamp based on the inclination angle acquired from the vehicle body inclination angle determination unit 21; and an optical axis control signal generating unit 23 for generating a control signal for controlling the optical axis of the headlamp based on the optical axis control amount acquired by the optical axis control amount setting unit 22.

    【課題】低コストの距離センサーを用いたオートレベリング制御における光軸制御の精度を高める。【解決手段】路面に対する傾きが変動する第1部分と当該路面に対する傾きがほぼ変動しない第2部分を有する車両に設けられた前照灯13の光軸制御装置であって、車両の第1部分の所定位置に取り付けられ、車両の第2部分の所定位置との間の距離を検出する距離検出部11と、距離検出部11により検出される距離を用いて車両の第1部分の前後方向における路面に対する傾き角度を求める車体傾斜角決定部21と、車体傾斜角決定部21により求められる傾き角度に基づいて、前照灯の光軸制御量を求める光軸制御量設定部22と、光軸制御量設定部22により求められる光軸制御量に基づいて前照灯の光軸を制御するための制御信号を生成する光軸制御信号生成部23を含む。【選択図】図2
