PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device in which the luminosity of the images it displays hardly falls even if the outside is bright.SOLUTION: A spherical translucent mirror is provided at the upper end of a case interior, a projector unit is provided at its lower end, and a spherical reflective screen is provided ahead of the projector unit. Further, the configuration is such that the projecting distance of the projector unit and the focal distance of the spherical reflective screen are identical, the spherical translucent mirror is arranged ahead of the spherical reflective screen, the reflectance of the spherical translucent mirror is 2% or more and less than 80%, and the space between the spherical reflective screen and the spherical translucent mirror is positioned at the focal distance of the spherical translucent mirror. Further, an intercepting film that intercepts external light and transmits 80% or more of the field of outward view from the inside is combined to the rear face of the spherical translucent mirror.
