PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technical means for preventing a signal light from becoming inoperative due to power shortage.SOLUTION: When power supply from the outside via a power supply unit 16 is lost, a control unit 21 of a controller 12 of a traffic light 10 turns off a switch 22, and determines whether the amount of remaining stored power of a power storage unit 15 is sufficient or not. If the amount of remaining stored power of the power storage unit 15 is not sufficient, the control unit 21 requests power supply from other traffic lights 10 via a communication device 13. The other traffic lights 10 that have accepted the power supply request notify the power supply request source of their amount of remaining stored power. The power supply request source traffic light 10 selects a traffic light 10 having the largest amount of remaining stored power as a power supply source traffic light 10 and gives notice. The control unit 21 of the traffic light 10 selected as the power supply source and the control unit 21 of the power supply request source traffic light 10 turn on their respective switches 22. This leads the traffic light 10 selected as the power supply source to supply power to the power supply request source traffic light 10 via the power supply unit 16.

    【課題】 電力不足により信号機が動作不能になるのを回避する技術的手段を提供する。【解決手段】 給電部16を介する外部からの給電がなくなった場合、信号機10のコントローラ12の制御部21は、スイッチ22をオフにし、蓄電部15の蓄電残量が十分であるか否かを判断する。蓄電部15の蓄電残量が十分でない場合、制御部21は、通信装置13を介して他の信号機10に給電要求を行う。給電要求を受けた他の信号機10は、蓄電残量を給電要求元に通知する。給電要求元の信号機10は、蓄電残量の最も多い信号機10を給電元の信号機10に決定して通知する。給電元に決定した信号機10の制御部21と給電要求元の信号機10の制御部21は、それぞれスイッチ22をオンにする。これにより、給電部16を介して、給電元に決定した信号機10から給電要求元の信号機10へ給電される。【選択図】図7
