PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor vehicle propeller shaft that can be shrunk even under application of a relative low load, and in which an outer pipe and an inner pipe are not limited to aluminum material, assembly workability is superior and a rotational motion can be positively transmitted even if a resilient body is deteriorated.SOLUTION: A motor vehicle propeller shaft 1 of this invention comprises an outer pipe 8, an inner pipe 9, an annular outer resilient body 11 fixed to an inner circumferential surface of the outer pipe 8 and an annular inner resilient body 12 fixed to an outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe 9 and fitted into the outer resilient body 11. An inner circumferential surface of the outer resilient body 11 is formed with a plurality of first protrusions 13 protruded in a radial inner direction and an outer circumferential surface of the inner resilient body 12 is formed with a plurality of second protrusions 14 protruded in a radial outer direction. By fitting, the first protrusions 13 and the second protrusions 14 are alternatively arranged in a circumferential direction, and the first protrusions 13 and the second protrusions 14 are kept in a crushed state in a radial direction and/or a circumferential direction.
