PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that although a body shape with less air resistance reduces energy consumption in a vehicle, there is a vehicle difficult to employ the body shape with less air resistance.SOLUTION: A power generation device related to this invention is a wind power generation device mounted on a vehicle. The wind power generation device generates power by utilizing wind pressure received during travelling; recovers part of kinetic energy of a travelling vehicle lost by wind pressure; and can be mounted regardless of the body shape of a vehicle. An electric vehicle related to this invention supplies recovered electric power to a drive motor to thereby reduce substantial energy consumption of the vehicle.

    【課題】 空気抵抗の少ないボディ形状は、車両の消費エネルギーを低減するが、空気抵抗の少ないボディ形状を採用しがたい車両もある。【解決手段】 本発明に係る発電装置は、車両に搭載された風力発電装置であって、走行中に受ける風圧を利用して発電することを特徴し、走行中の車両が風圧によって失う運動エネルギーの一部を回収するものであり、車両のボディ形状に関係なく搭載可能である。本発明に係る電動車両では、回収される電力を駆動モーターに供給するので、実質的な車両の消費エネルギーを低減できる。【選択図】図1
