PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of an object, while suppressing a scale of the circuit and a computation amount.SOLUTION: A process is repeated for a predetermined number of times for repeating processes of s step S2 to a step S6 for a predetermined number of times, projecting measurement light, receiving reflection light, sampling a light receiving signal, and an integration process of the light receiving value for each light receiving element and a sampling time within a measurement period of one cycle. In one detection period, the processes of the step S1 to the step S7 are repeated for the predetermined number of times, and executed in a predetermined measurement period, and the light receiving element for performing the measurement of the light receiving value for each measurement period is selected. The detection process of the object is performed based on the integration value of the light receiving value in the same sampling time of the light receiving signal from the same light receiving element sampled in the detection period. The present invention is applied, for example, to a laser radar device for a vehicle.

    【課題】回路の規模や演算量を抑制しつつ、物体の検出精度を向上させる。【解決手段】1サイクルの測定期間内に、ステップS2乃至S6の処理が所定の回数繰り返され、測定光を投光し、反射光を受光し、受光信号のサンプリングを行い、受光素子及びサンプリング時刻毎に受光値の積算を行う処理が、所定の回数だけ実行される。また、1回の検出期間において、ステップS1乃至S7処理が所定の回数繰り返され、所定のサイクルの測定期間が実行されるとともに、測定期間毎に受光値の測定を行う受光素子が選択される。そして、検出期間内にサンプリングされた、同じ受光素子からの受光信号の同じサンプリング時刻における受光値の積算値に基づいて、物体の検出処理が行われる。本発明は、例えば、車両用のレーザレーダ装置に適用できる。【選択図】図8
