PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reduction mechanism for commercial ship, a commercial ship, and a noise reduction method for a commercial ship each of which achieves reduction in noise within a quietness target section of a living quarter provided on an upper deck or upward from the upper deck, using a control actuator for vibrating an engine room wall or the upper deck.SOLUTION: A noise reduction mechanism 30 is provided for reducing a solid propagation of vibration and noise from a vibration source and a noise source within an engine room 10 of a commercial ship 1 to a living quater 22. In the noise reduction mechanism 30, an actuator 31 for performing an active noise insulation control of a wall surface of an engine room wall 12 surrounding the engine room 10 is provided at a lower side region Pa of a connection region P1 connected to the upper deck 2 of the engine room wall 12 or a region Pb in the vicinity of the lower side of the connection region P1 or a region Pc on the lower surface of the upper deck 2.
