PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid electric automobile which can perform data measurement being a pre-standard by a simple technique, can reduce a capacity required for a storage device accompanied by the reduction of a data amount, and can achieve cost reduction by simplifying system.SOLUTION: Traveling pattern information including an element of a road face gradient is acquired by making it associated with a traveling distance during the traveling of a vehicle, a standard deviation σ is calculated from the traveling pattern information, a vehicle speed is detected, and vehicle weight is estimated. On the other hand, a control map for selecting an SOC balance lower-limit mode and an SOC balance intermediate mode which are different in control characteristics of a motor are stored in an ECU in advance according to the standard deviation σ, the vehicle speed and the vehicle weight. The mode is selected on the basis of the standard deviation σ, the vehicle speed and the vehicle weight which are sequentially obtained during the traveling of the vehicle, and the motor is controlled on the basis of the selected mode.
【課題】事前の規範となるデータ計測を簡易的な手法により実施できると共に、データ量の削減に伴って記憶装置に要求される容量を低減でき、もってシステムを簡素化してコスト低減を達成できるハイブリッド電気自動車の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両の走行中に路面勾配の要素を含む走行パターン情報を走行距離と関連付けて取得し、この走行パターン情報から標準偏差σを算出すると共に、車速を検出し、車両重量を推定する。一方、標準偏差σ、車速及び車両重量に応じて、モータの制御特性が異なるSOCバランス下限モード及びSOCバランス中間モードを選択するための制御マップを予めECUに記憶しておく。車両の走行中に逐次得られる標準偏差σ、車速及び車両重量に基づきモード選択し、選択したモードに基づきモータを制御する。【選択図】図4
