To provide an electric automobile control device and an electric automobile capable of reducing a possibility of a driver's erroneous recognition that an abnormality occurs in the electric automobile, even when the discharge control of a battery is performed upon the key-off of the electric automobile.SOLUTION: An electric automobile control device comprises: a discharge control unit for performing, when the SOC of a battery is within a prescribed range in which the battery is prone to deteriorate, upon the key-off of an electric automobile, control for discharging the battery until the SOC falls outside the prescribed range; a travelable distance calculation unit for calculating the travelable distance of the electric automobile by using the SOC and a travel coefficient; and a travel coefficient correction unit for correcting the travel coefficient in such a manner as to reduce a change in the travelable distance calculated by the travelable distance calculation unit before and after the control for discharging the battery is performed by the discharge control unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
