PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion loss arithmetic unit, a vehicle, an abrasion loss arithmetic method, and a program capable of detecting an abrasion loss of a pad while restricting the increase of the number of parts.SOLUTION: This invention provides an abrasion loss arithmetic unit for calculating an abrasion loss of a brake member for braking a body of revolution, the abrasion loss arithmetic unit comprising: a brake information acquisition part 32 for acquiring at least information of a brake pressure, a speed of a brake object, and a braking time; an abrasion loss computing part 33 for calculating an estimated abrasion of the brake member on the basis of the acquisition result of the brake information acquisition part 32; and an abrasion loss integration part 34 for integrating the estimated abrasion loss calculated by the abrasion loss computing part 33 to obtain an integrated abrasion loss.
