PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle failure determination device capable of determining failure of a second MG rotation number sensor without adding new calculation means or the like.SOLUTION: The failure determination device is applied to a hybrid vehicle in which a correlation speed expression is established between first MG rotation number Ng, second MG rotation number Nm, and engine rotation number Ne, and executes rotation number sensor failure determination processing. In the second MG rotation number evaluation step (S02, S03), when the second MG rotation number sensor value Nm_sns and a second MG rotation number calculation value calculated by using the correlation speed expression from engine rotation number Ne_sns and first MG rotation number Ng_sns are not equal (S03:NO), and in an engine torque evaluation step (S05, S06), when engine target torque Te_tgt and engine indirect estimation torque Te_est_mg1 calculated by multiplying proportional constant to the torque of the first MG are equal (S06:YES), it is determined that the second MG rotation number sensor is in a provisional failure state (S07).

    【課題】新たな算出手段等を追加することなく、第2MG回転数センサの故障を判定する車両の故障判定装置を提供する。【解決手段】故障判定装置は、第1MG回転数Ng、第2MG回転数Nm及びエンジン回転数Neの間に相関速度式が成立するハイブリッド車両に適用され、回転数センサ故障判定処理を実行する。第2MG回転数評価ステップ(S02、S03)において、第2MG回転数センサ値Nm_snsと、エンジン回転数Ne_sns及び第1MG回転数Ng_snsから相関速度式を用いて算出される第2MG回転数算出値とが同等でなく(S03:NO)、且つ、エンジントルク評価ステップ(S05、S06)において、エンジン目標トルクTe_tgtと、第1MGのトルクに比例定数を乗じて算出されるエンジン間接推定トルクTe_est_mg1とが同等であるとき(S06:YES)、第2MG回転数センサが仮故障状態であると判定する(S07)。【選択図】図3
