PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device which functions as an active suspension and achieves small energy consumption, a simple structure, and low costs.SOLUTION: A suspension device S according to the invention includes: a damper D including a cylinder 1 and a piston 2 which is movably inserted into the cylinder 1 and divides an inner space of the cylinder 1 into an expansion side chamber R1 and a pressure side chamber R2; a pump 4; a reservoir R connected with the suction side of the pump 4; switching means 7 which selectively connects a supply passage 5 connected with the discharge side of the pump 4 with one of the expansion side chamber R1 and the pressure side chamber R2 and connects the other of the expansion side chamber R1 and the pressure side chamber R2 with a discharge passage 6 leading to the reservoir R; a control valve 8 capable of adjusting a fluid pressure supplied from the pump 4; an on-off valve 9 which is provided in the middle of the discharge passage 6; a suction passage 12 which allows the pressure side chamber R2 to communicate with the reservoir R; and a suction check valve 13 which is provided in the middle of the suction passage 12 and allows only flow of the fluid flowing from the reservoir R to the pressure side chamber R2.

    【課題】アクティブサスペンションとして機能できるとともに、エネルギ消費が少なく、簡単な構成でコストも安価なサスペンション装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明におけるサスペンション装置Sは、シリンダ1と、シリンダ1内に移動自在に挿入されてシリンダ1内を伸側室R1と圧側室R2とに区画するピストン2とを備えたダンパDと、ポンプ4と、ポンプ4の吸込側に接続されるリザーバRと、ポンプ4の吐出側に接続される供給路5を伸側室R1と圧側室R2の一方へ選択的に接続するとともに伸側室R1と圧側室R2の他方をリザーバRへ通じる排出路6に接続する切換手段7と、ポンプ4から供給される流体圧を調整可能な制御弁8と、排出路6の途中に設けられる開閉弁9と、圧側室R2とリザーバRとを連通する吸込通路12と、吸込通路12の途中に設けられてリザーバRから圧側室R2へ向かう流体の流れのみを許容する吸込逆止弁13とを備える。【選択図】図1
