A firearm mount assembly 10 for a wearable flight system comprises a firearm mount 12 and an actuator 14. The firearm mount 12 is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation 15. The firearm mount 12 comprises a firearm attachment point. The firearm attachment point is configured to locate a firearm 16 such that a longitudinal axis of a barrel of the firearm 16 substantially intersects the axis of rotation 15. The actuator 14 is configured to rotate the firearm mount 12. Also disclosed is a wearable flight suit comprising a body suit and a helmet configured to receive an electronics module. The electronics module is connected to the body unit by a communication cable. The communication cable is configured to be detached from the helmet if a user removes and moves away from the body unit. The communication cable is configured to be magnetically attached to the helmet.
