The invention concerns an aircraft fuel heating arrangement comprising an exhaust cone 2 for a gas turbine engine, the exhaust cone having an outer body 5 defining an internal cone cavity 6, the internal cone cavity comprising one or more conduits 7 passing therethrough for communicating fuel through the cavity, which may function as a heat exchanger (HEX) and wherein the outer body of the exhaust cone comprises at least one inlet 8 and at least one outlet 9 to allow exhaust gas to pass into through and out of the exhaust cone. In some embodiments, the heat exchanger operates to heat a cryogenic fuel used to power the gas turbine engine
