The invention belongs to the field of automatic driving technology and automatic speed control technology and relates to vehicle speed control method relating to ensuring passenger comfort affected by running vibration. A speed curve is obtained by a prediction model (fig 3) between vibration type pavement condition and driving comfort, based on type of vehicles, including three-axis acceleration sensors mounted to the following positions in a testing vehicle at the centre of the backrest of driver’s seat, at the centre of the cushion of driver’s seat, and at a third position. The hyperbolic tangent function (fig 4) or constant speed is used in speed control. Also disclosed are analysis of changeable road surface quality and vehicle vibration, and image-based road surface anti-slide coefficient evaluation technology, in combination with the use of GIS and vehicle-road communication technology (fig 2) to acquire road conditions.
