The present invention relates to a multi-source aircraft propulsion arrangement 100 comprising a cryogenic propulsion source 140 and a combustion propulsion source 112, 122 wherein the cryogenic propulsion source and the combustion propulsion source may be selectively and independently operated to generate propulsive force for an aircraft. The cryogenic source may supply fuel to a prime mover such as a fuel cell 142 or further combustion engine such as a gas-turbine 144. The prime mover may be designed to ingest non-laminar airflow as a boundary layer ingestion prime mover. The cryogen may be liquid hydrogen or liquid natural gas. The system may be a distributed propulsion system. The system may comprise electric motors as propulsion means. The cryogenic source may be located in the art portion of the aircraft. A portion of the cryogenic prime mover may for a structural part of the fuselage.
