A deep water power generation station comprises a vertical speed-increasing water tunnel pipe 9, an upper end of which is connected to a hydraulic turbine 3 through a horizontal water pipe 10. The lower end of the vertical pipe 9 is in communication with a horizontal speed-increasing water inlet pipe 6, which is hung on the vertical pipe 9 through a bearing 7. The inlet 6 is moved to face into the flow by rudder 8. The hydraulic turbine 3 is installed on a ship 4 and may be used for power generation or to provide propulsion for the ship.
