A plastic cushioning wheel member 1 has an annular body 10, an axis 30 and multiple cushioning spokes 50. The cushioning spokes 50 each have three deformable curved sections (51, 52, 53, fig 2) and are formed between the annular body 10 and axis 30. The spokes 50 are deformed to decentralize the axis 30 (fig 3) with external force applied to the cushioning spokes 50 and recover to centralize the axis 30 (fig 2) with removal of the external force. The wheel may be used as a gear with teeth 11 on the outer surface of the annual body 10. The cushioning spokes 50 are structurally simple and light and may be deformed when encountering external force or impact and may be used in an ink ribbon cassette (fig 4) or a stroller.
