The invention relates to a duration prediction platform and method based on intelligent traffic data analysis, and the platform comprises a data analysis device which is used for carrying out the statistics of the most frequent driving route of a vehicle at the current moment as a target driving route; and the prediction processing mechanism is used for intelligently predicting the driving time required for the vehicle to drive on the target driving route at this time based on the historical driving average speed of the vehicle, the highest driving speed, the total number of the road sections forming the target driving route and the driving information of the effective driving process of the latest set number. The time length prediction platform and method based on intelligent traffic data analysis are intelligent in operation and wide in application. The most frequent driving route of the vehicle at the current moment can be automatically analyzed, and the duration consumed by the vehicle to complete the selected driving route at the current moment is predicted according to the latest historical driving information of the selected driving route, the data of the vehicle and the route data; therefore, various erroneous judgments in the driving process of people are avoided.
