A potentiometer adjustable fuel injection engine control unit (ECU) for aftermarket fitment. Adjustment uses a potentiometer to set ten map points selected by a ten-position switch, such as a thumbwheel. This adjusts the pulse width of the signal to the injectors. Fuelling is adjusted by the potentiometer at every 1000 rpm between 1000 rpm and 8000 rpm, selected by the switch, before being committed to memory using a commit button. This plots a fuelling curve that is interpolated between points by the ECU. The pulse width to the injectors is reduced by a variable percentage by the ECU when off full throttle, this being adjustable with the potentiometer at the ninth position of the switch and committed to memory. The tenth position of the switch adjusts the additional fuelling required by a variable percentage when the engine is cold and as it warms up.
