A vehicle comprises a passenger cabin ventilation system. The system includes a vent (310, figure 3) and a duct (320, figure 5) to supply an airflow to the vent. The duct comprises at least one bore 325 that extends across an airflow passage of the duct and includes a surrounding sidewall 322 to seal the bore from the airflow passage. A fixing 350 (e.g. a rivet or screw) extends through the bore to a structure of the vehicle (e.g. a sill or other part of the body-in-white of the vehicle) to secure the duct to the structure. Ideally multiple bores and sidewalls are provided wherein the sidewalls are aerofoil shaped to reduce turbulence and/or drag and so mitigate against undesirable noise and pressure drop. A cover (340, figure 5) having a leg 341, inner and outer sidewalls 345,346 and a treadplate (349, figure 5) is ideally located over the duct and provides a load path to the structure independent of the duct, thereby providing rigid and robust protection for the duct. The duct 320 may be formed from a flexible material to conform to the shape of the structure.
