The invention relates to a fuel metering and distribution unit 10 which comprises a slide valve 20 and a set of slots 41 configured with geometries, dimensions and positions such that: in a first range of displacement of the slide valve, a flow area 31 which feeds an outlet port of the pilot ramp 30 is progressively opened with the displacement of the slide valve, while an area of the set of slots which feeds the outlet port of the main fuel ramp 40 is closed. In a second range of displacement of the slide valve, the area of the set of slots which feeds the outlet port of the main fuel ramp is progressively opened with the displacement of the slide valve, while the flow area which feeds the outlet port of the pilot ramp is kept open. The outlet port of the main ramp thus being able to receive a portion of the total metered flow rate at the flow area feeding the outlet port of the pilot ramp. The unit comprises a multi-outlet metering device having a sleeve inside of which is housed the slide valve. The metering device has a feed port 54. Also provided is a gas turbine engine having the aforementioned unit.
