The invention relates to a hybrid aerodyne of small or average size having significant flight autonomy, for example for coastal surveillance missions, comprising a fuselage (1), a fixed wing (2, 3, 4, 5) and a rotary wing (6, 7) capable of being immobilized in cruising flight of the aerodyne, the rotary wing being capable of producing lift by its rotation in vertical flight phase and of being immobilized and stowed longitudinally in cruising flight phase, and comprising at least one counterweight (6d) monoblade (6) situated at the top and at the front of the fuselage (1), said monoblade being articulated about an axis perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotor, substantially at the level of said axis of rotation of the rotor mast, characterized in that it comprises a structural element (11) carried by the fuselage (1) and movable with respect to the latter between a retracted position in the vicinity of the outer surface of the fuselage and a service position projecting from said outer surface, in which it comes into contact with at least said monoblade (6) of the rotary wing when the latter is stopped and longitudinally locked.
