The invention relates to a method for controlling an assembly of functional members and associated equipment of a vehicle (1), said assembly comprising a first member (3) comprising at least one motorised seat arranged in a predetermined area of the passenger compartment of the vehicle (1), said seat being capable of adopting a plurality of predetermined positions; a second member that generates sound (4) comprising loudspeakers capable of producing sound in one or more predetermined areas of the vehicle (1); a third member that generates light (5) comprising lighting means capable of lighting one or more pre-determined areas of the vehicle; and a fourth member (6) for treating the air of the passenger compartment, comprising a diffuser for diffusing at least one fragrance into the passenger compartment, capable of being coupled with the air-conditioning and ventilation device of the vehicle (1), said method consisting of controlling in a coordinated manner each of the first, second, third and fourth members (3 to 6) according to a sequence of phases of a predefined scenario in which each of the phases of the scenario involves all of the first, second, third and fourth members (3 to 6).
