The interface has a centering unit for centering two frames (1, 2) and comprising two mounting shafts carried in parallel by one of the frames in an axial orientation. The shafts are arranged as rails (22, 23) for supporting and axially guiding the other frame relative to the former frame. The rails are removably mounted on the former frame through easily-reversible junction units (24), and co-operate with the respective windows (20, 21) included in the latter frame. Lateral openings (25, 26) of the windows are opened to allow the rails to pass transversely into the windows from outside. The easily-reversible junction units are of mutual engagement type or screw-fastening type. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for assembling a drive source and an equipment using a mounting interface (2) a method for separating a drive source and an equipment.
