According to the power saving method, when it is detected that a battery level decreases to a first preset value, a user may be automatically reminded whether to enter a power saving mode (1010); when an operation of confirming, by the user, to enable the power saving mode is detected, the user is reminded again whether to enable the power saving mode (1020); and after the user performs a reconfirmation, the power saving mode is formally enabled (1030). According to the power saving method, when it is detected that the battery level of the vehicle decreases to a preset battery level, the user may be automatically reminded, in a plurality of manners such as a voice and/or a pop-up window, whether to enable an ultra power saving mode, to improve a battery life of the vehicle. In addition, driving safety can be further ensured through a plurality of reminders.
