The invention relates to the field of vehicle control, and provides a vehicle power saving method and device. The vehicle power saving method comprises the following steps: a signal of at least one intelligent key button is detected; and when the signal of the at least one intelligent key button is a first combination of preset key signals, the vehicle is controlled to enter a low-power-consumption mode under the condition that the engine of the vehicle is not started. The vehicle can enter the low-power-consumption mode according to requirements, and the electric quantity of a storage batteryis saved.
