According to the invention, a method for managing this charging comprises steps of: - connecting (E1) a charging cable (13) between said electric vehicle and said charging terminal; - said charging terminal receiving (E5) authentication data in relation to said electric vehicle; - said charging terminal triggering said charging at the end of an inspection (E6) on said authentication data when the authentication data concern a second user, different from the first user and authorized to carry out charging.
