The invention relates to a method of electrical recharging of the batteries (202, 204) of an electric vehicle, from an electrical charging station (206) external to said vehicle, said method (100) comprising: - a phase (104), termed the heating phase, for heating up said batteries (202, 204) with a first electrical signal, termed the heating signal, provided by said charging station (206), and - a phase (110), termed the charging phase, for recharging said batteries (202, 204) with a second electrical signal, termed the charging signal, different from said first signal, provided by said charging station (206); the switch from said heating phase (104) to said charging phase (110) being triggered by said vehicle or by a signal provided by said vehicle. It also relates to a system implementing such a method and a vehicle equipped with such a system.
