The invention relates to a wiring device (42) for wiring multiple fuel cell modules (5). The wiring device is equipped with a base element (43) which provides a matrix of contact points (47) that can be populated with connection elements (22, 23, 41, 48) in order to produce different wirings. The base element (43) has two input connections (46) and output connections for each fuel cell module (5) to be connected. Additionally, two busbars (44) are provided, each of which is connected to a respective half of the outlet connections and each of which provides an outer contact (45) for connecting an electric load (4) to be supplied by the fuel cell modules (5). For each provided parallel branch (21) of fuel cell modules (5), a diode device (6, 9, 33, 41) is provided, each diode device being connected between one of the input connections (46) and one of the busbars (44) and allowing a flow of current only in the direction from the respective input connection (46) to the respective busbar (44).
