A left LiDAR sensor (24) detects, with first light, a state of a first left sensing area (LA1) located outside a vehicle, and outputs first left detecting information (LI1) corresponding to the state. A left camera (25) detects, with second light, a state of a second left sensing area (LA2) located outside the vehicle and at least partially overlapping with the first left sensing area (LA1), and outputs second left detecting information (LI2) corresponding to the state. A left translucent cover (22) covers the left LiDAR sensor (24) and the left camera (25) while forming a part of an outer face of the vehicle, and allows passage of the first light and the second light. A control device (4) detects an abnormality of the left translucent cover (22) based on an inconsistency between the first detecting information and the second detecting information that are outputted for an area where the first left sensing area (LA1) and the second left sensing area (LA2) overlap.
