The present invention regards device for retaining an occupant of a vehicle seat with four anchor points to the frame associated with a backrest extending between an upper and a lower part and a seat cushion extending between an inner and outer side and comprising: a first retractable shoulder belt, of which at least one end protrudes from a single or double belt retractor anchored to the vehicle frame; a second retractable shoulder belt, of which at least one end protrudes from a single or double belt retractor anchored to the vehicle frame; a first retractable abdominal belt of which at least one end protrudes from a single or double belt retractor anchored to the vehicle frame; a second retractable abdominal belt, of which at least one end protrudes from a single or double belt retractor anchored to the vehicle frame; a closure system with a single buckle and a single tongue for the interconnection of the abdominal belts and shoulder belts; all the belts that converge at the center of the lower abdomen; a reticular truss that has vertical and parallel elements to the rails is installed between a peak and other uprights where there are installed the retractors and whose diagonal and vertical elements are sufficiently distanced to allow the passage of the belts and of the integrated elements, anchor rings, tongues and buckles, through the blanks of the reticular truss; it can be welded or bolted or riveted or jammed on the peaks of two uprights.
