A tilting vehicle (100) having an individual electric drive for each rear wheel (56), a velocity sensor for measuring driving speed, a steering force sensor for sensing a moment or force exerted about the steering axis for actuating a tilting motion of the front wheel (15) about the steering axis and a controller, which receives as input the steering force sensor signal and the velocity sensor signal which is connected to the tilting drive and to the propulsion drive, the controller being adapted for generating a tilt control signal for the tilting drive on the basis of the steering force sensor signal and for generating a propulsion control signal that is such that a moment is generated on the rear frame section (50) about a substantially vertical axis, having a direction corresponding or opposite to the direction of the steering force.
