Embodiments include a system (300) and method for controlling doors in a multi-door system. A controller (302) is configured to control the multi-door system, wherein the multi-door system (300) includes a first door (308) and a second door (310), wherein the first door (308) is on a different side than the second door (310). One or more sensors (316) operably are coupled to the multi-door system (300) and the controller (302), wherein the one or more sensors (316) are configured to detect one or more conditions. The controller (302) includes a processor (304), wherein the processor (304) is configured to: receive an input from the one or more sensors (316), wherein the input comprises at least one of call information and crowd sensing information; responsive to the input, prioritize an operation of the first door (308) and the second door (310) based at least in part on the input; and operate the first door (308) and second door (310) based on the prioritization.
