The present invention relates to a method for assigning a traffic light of a traffic light system in a road section of an intersection controlled by the traffic light system to a lane of the road section. The road section has the at least a lane, and the lane has a common driving direction. Also, a method in which multiple vehicles forming a group passes the road section includes following steps of: sensing the traffic light system in the front by the each vehicle passing the road section and moving toward the traffic light system; continuously detecting a traffic signal state of the traffic light in the traffic light system, the lane on which the vehicle is passing, a vehicle speed, and a vehicle position by the each vehicle, wherein the detection is continued until the vehicle passes traffic light system from an estimated distance with the traffic light system; transmitting data recorded by the each vehicle, the traffic signal state, the lane, and the vehicle speed to a back end computer in the form of a data set; evaluating the data set for each vehicle by the back end computer; and generating an assignment table on the traffic light system detected from the evaluated data set, wherein the assignment table assigns the traffic light of the traffic light system to the lane of the road section. The step of evaluating the data set for each vehicle by the back end computer includes: a step of determining the traffic light system distinguished by a map; a step of recognizing a vehicle movement passing the road section; and a step of checking the traffic signal state when the vehicle passes the traffic light system.
