A power electronics system is provided at each charging point, which power electronics system is designed to perform a quick-charging operation of a connected electrically driven vehicle that is to be charged, and a power drawn from the medium-voltage grid jointly by the charging points at a respective time is monitored centrally and/or decentrally and continuously at a grid contact point connected upstream of the transformer in the direction of the medium-voltage grid. An average power drawn from the medium-voltage grid jointly by the charging points is in each case adjusted over a prescribed time interval.
