The invention relates to a sensory feedback control method for a control interface, in particular fpr a motor vehicle, said control interface comprising a touch-sensitive surface (2), characterised in that the method comprises the following steps: detecting the movement of a pointing element (3) towards a target boundary (6); when the pointing element (3) is detected at a threshold distance (d) from the target boundary, generating at least one sensory feedback, such that the sensory feedback is perceived by a user of the interface (1) substantially at the moment at which the target boundary (6) is crossed, preventing a time lag between the perception of the sensory feedback and the crossing of the target boundary (6). The invention relates to a control interface (1) for a motor vehicle, configured to carry out the aforementioned control method at least partially.
