Hydraulic suspension system for a motor vehicle wheelset, comprising, for each wheel, a suspension spring (17b), a shock absorber (1b) of the type having a cylinder and a piston able to move in the cylinder in order therein to delimit two, respectively compression and expansion, chambers and interposed between the bodyshell of the vehicle and the vehicle wheel steering knuckle, a compressible mechanical end stop (7b), a hydraulic end stop (9b) with a piston mounted in the compression chamber, this suspension system being characterized in that it additionally comprises an antiroll bar (30) connecting the two steering knuckles of the wheelset, which is able to make the transition between a first and a second state, a stiffness of the antiroll bar in the second state being lowered by comparison with the first state.
