A motorized vehicle (100) includes an engine (108), a transmission (118) having an input (202) coupled to the engine (108) and an output (426), and a controller (310) for controlling at least the transmission (118). A braking system includes a brake sensor (420) and a brake pack (408, 410) configured to reduce a speed of the vehicle (100). The brake sensor (420) is in electrical communication with the controller (310). A main hydraulic pump (412) is operably driven by the engine (108) and an output hydraulic pump (414) is operably driven by the transmission output (426). A brake coolant valve (416) is in fluid communication with the main hydraulic pump (412) and the output hydraulic pump (414). The brake coolant valve (416) is controlled between an open position and a closed position. The main hydraulic pump (412) and the output hydraulic pump (414) are fluidly coupled to the brake pack (408, 410) when the brake coolant valve (416) is in its open position.
