Said method is characterized in that it comprises, after attachment of the crosspiece (14) onto the longitudinal arm (12): - an operation for carrying out intense heating then rapid cooling of at least one area (40) of the crosspiece (14) wall that is located transversely and at a distance relative to the slightly biased portion (38A, 38B) of the free edge (32).
