The invention relates to a shaft, in particular an intermediate shaft (1), for arranging in a hybrid module (100) for the purpose of transmitting torque between an internal combustion engine and an electric machine, comprising a cylindrical element (10) and a cup-shaped element (20), wherein the cylindrical element (10) is connected to the cup-shaped element (20) by means of a form-fitting and/or force-fitting connection (40), which is realized by deformation of at least one of the two following components: the cylindrical element (10) and the cup-shaped element (20), or by means of an integrally bonded connection, in particular a welded joint (50). The invention furthermore relates to a method for producing the shaft and to a hybrid module having the shaft. With the shaft according to the invention that is proposed here and also with the hybrid module equipped with the shaft according to the invention, reliable transmission of torque between the drive units is possible in constricted construction space conditions and at low production costs.
